In the Community
We are proud to be an active Member Agency of the United Way of Regina.
The Regina Work Preparation Centre is proud of the role we play in our community and the effective and innovative services we offer.
We believe in community involvement and take our role as leaders and community members seriously. Our staff contributes by providing expertise to the professional and lay community through committee and group work and workshop leadership.
Our efforts have recently been recognized by our Agency receiving an EDDY Award.
We take practicum students from the University of Regina and SIAST. We hold positions on community boards and are members of the following associations:
- Canadian Association of Reality Therapy (William Glasser Institute Canada)
- Provincial Interagency Network on Disabilities
- Regina Chamber of Commerce
- Regina Counsellors Network
- Saskatchewan Employment Equity and Diversity Association
This involvement, and the services we provide, support and enhance the Regina community.
