The Regina Work Preparation Centre is able to place clients in a job at no cost to you, the employer. These work placements last between two and ten weeks. During this period the Regina Work Preparation Centre pays the wages of the participant, covers employee benefits and Workers' Compensation. If more training time is needed, additional funding can be accessed.
Our Work Placements Provide:
- An opportunity to try a new employee for a specified time to determine suitability and potential.
- An opportunity to train a new employee at no cost.
- An opportunity to save money, time, and energy when seeking employees.
- An opportunity to invest in the community by offering valuable work experience to someone seeking work.
- An opportunity to increase Employment Equity by giving minority groups and persons with disabilities an opportunity to maximize their potential in the workplace.
