Volunteer Opportunities
We are looking for volunteer tutors to work with our clients on:
Basic reading skills
Basic writing skills
Basic numeracy skills
Basic computer skills
Your commitment would be approximately 2 hours a week when you are matched with a learner. You may work with a learner for a few weeks or months. There may be a break between working with learners. Work Prep will work around your availability.
The tutoring could take place at our offices during working hours, or at a library or other public place during the evening and weekends.
Work Prep has various resources you could use in your tutoring efforts. As well, we have a small computer lab available for tutors and learners. You will have a contact and support person at Work Prep to help you.
